6 Quick and Delicious Recipes Using Kutchina Rice Cooker

  1. Vegetable Pulao:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, beans, etc.)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Method:

  • Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain and set aside.

 Ingredients:

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

  • Season the fish fillets with lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the fish fillets in a heatproof dish that fits inside the rice cooker.
  • Fill the rice cooker with water up to the minimum fill line.
  • Put the dish with the fish inside the rice cooker.

  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • A few curry leaves
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • In the rice cooker, heat oil using the sauté function.
  • Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  • Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
  • Stir in the chopped carrots, capsicum, and sauté for a few minutes.
